Hollywood Celebrity Scandal Weddings

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander

Who hasn't been to Vegas and gotten a little carried away? Gambling away your rent is one thing, but marrying a man that you barely know is a whole different mistake. Britney Spears and an old pal, Jason Alexander, took a trip to Sin City in 2004 and came home with quite the souvenir - wedding bands! Brit's legal team quickly stepped in and had the marriage annulled within days. While Jason received some money for his troubles, I wonder if the couple even have time to consummate.

Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney

Renee and Kenny met in January 2005 and quietly began dating. When news broke that they had tied the knot in September 2005, people had the same reaction of, "I didn't even know they were dating!" It wasn't long, 128 days to be exact, before Renee filed for divorce, citing "fraud". Hard to believe, but Chesney claimed he was caught off guard by Renee and thought their marriage was fine. I think that cowboy hat might have crowded his brain.

Liza Minnelli and David Gest

The 2002 marriage of Liza Minnelli (daughter of Judy Garland) to David Gest can only be described as one level below a legitimate freak show. One look at their wacky guest list and you'll know why. Michael Jackson served as the best man with Liz Taylor as maid of honor. The couple split after 16 months and an ugly divorce battle followed. David claimed that Liza would get drunk and throw lamps at him. Maybe Liza was angry that David kept taking her mom's little red slippers.

Drew Barrymore and Jeremy Thomas

If you spend enough hours at the local pub throwing back the cocktails, you'll eventually make friends with the bartender. Drew Barrymore must have been hitting the sauce pretty hard because she married Jeremy Thomas, her local bartender, the same night that they met. In 2004, Drew was having fun at a little pub, when an offer of marriage was handed out. She gladly (and drunkenly) accepted, but the marriage only lasted five weeks. She probably should have called her sponsor first.
