World's Oldest Blogger Dies at 108

A 108-year-old Australian woman who was promoted as the world's oldest blogger has died two weeks after making her last post about "singing a happy song," her great-grand son and her online forum said.Olive Riley wrote 74 entries in her blogs, firstly http://www.allaboutolive.com.au/ and later http://worldsoldestblogger.blogspot.com/. A friend introduced Riley to blogging early in 2007, and was hooked.
Riley "passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12," a posting on her Web site said. No cause of death was given. "She will be mourned by thousands of Internet friends and hundreds of descendants and other relatives."
She entered a nursing home in Woy Woy, 50 miles north of Sydney, last month, from where she blogged about having a bad cough and feeling weak.
In her last entry, on June 26, Riley thanked supporters for "a whole swag of e-mails and comments from my Internet friends" and described meeting a new friend in the bed next to her."She and I sang a happy song, as I do every day, and before long we were joined by several nurses, who sang along too. It was quite a concert!" she posted.
Great-grandson Darren Stone said Riley loved being able to stay in touch with correspondents all over the world and said she believed it kept her mind active.
"It was mind blowing to her," Stone said. "She had people communicating with her from as far away as Russia and America on a continual basis, not just once in a while."
Born in the remote mining town of Broken Hill in 1899, Riley blogged regularly in the last year of her life about growing up in the Outback, raising three children and working as a farm cook and bartender earlier in her life.

Madge is missing as Ritchie dines with Paltrow

Guy Ritchie dined with wife Madonna's best friend Gwyneth Paltrow but the pop icon herself was missing.
The impromptu meal also saw Paltrow's rocker hubby, Chris Martin, and actor Robert Downey Jr. but Madge was nowhere in sight.Apparently, the meeting was regarding Downey Jr., starring in Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" flick, reports .The director has had a series of flops and it is believed that the actress might have used some of her "Iron Man" pull with Downey to hitch him in Ritchie's latest project.
Meanwhile, Madonna's brother Christopher, in his autobiography has revealed that the pop icon's marriage to director hubby is hanging by the thin thread of their religion.
He said that one of the only things that's keeping the couple together is Kabbalah, a cross between Judaism, Catholicism and Buddhism, reports the Daily Star.

Paris Hilton shatters Nicole Richie's peaceful life!!

Nicole Richie reportedly isn't too happy about best friend Paris Hilton moving into her neighbourhood.
Richie and her baby's father Joel Madden, of the band Good Charlotte, had moved to Glendale to escape the publicity that was hounding them.
But when Hilton and Benji Madden moved in next door to Richie, all the peace and quiet that they had been enjoying was disrupted.
Hilton, who enjoys being in the limelight, has the gossipmongers coming over and disrupting the serenity of the place - and Richie's not pleased.
"Nicole moved out there to get away from the paparazzi, but when Paris calls them, they come to her quiet street and disrupt everything. She's getting a little fed up," says Nicole.

Jessica, who celebrated her birthday with her beau Tony Romo sporting a free flowing short sleeved, looking curvier than everwhich she was trying to hide with a grey jumper, reports news.She also kept holding a grey jumper in front of her stomach, as if she was trying to hide something," an onlooker revealed.
If the reports are true, then Jessica's parents will become grandparents twice over, what with younger daughter Ashlee Simpson also expecting her first child with hubby Pete Wentz. So lots of good news to her family!!

Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas married!!

Black Eyed Peas rapper Taboo and fiancé Jaymie Dizon were married on Saturday, their rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Taboo (real name is Jaime Gomez) and Dizon were married at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pasadena, Calif., Erin Calhoun-Dulaney says, two days before the rapper's 33rd birthday.
Guests included the groom's Black Eyed Peas bandmates william, Apl de ap as groomsmen, and Fergie, accompanied by fiancé Josh Duhamel. Best man was his childhood friend and manager Polo Molina.
The couple wore his and hers diamond and platinum bands, and she has a platinum and diamond engagement sparkler by Neil Lane.

Josh Brolin,Jeffrey Wright n other film crew arrested

Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, along with members of a crew filming an Oliver Stone movie, were arrested during a bar fight Saturday morning, police said.
Shreveport police Sgt. Willie Lewis said Brolin, Wright and five others were arrested just after 2 a.m. at a club called the Stray Cat bar.A call to deal with a rowdy patron drew interference from other patrons, Lewis said. The Times of Shreveport reported that Brolin was booked and posted $334 cash bond to be released.
Police could not say Saturday night whether he or the others had been released. The paper said they are part of the crew on an Oliver Stone film, "W," about President George W. Bush.
A call to Brolin's publicist was not immediately returned Saturday night. "W'' began filming in May in Shreveport.
Brolin plays President Bush and Wright plays former Secretary of State Colin Powell. The cast also includes Elizabeth Banks as first lady Laura Bush, Ellen Burstyn and James Cromwell as the elder Bushes and Thandie Newton as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Brolin appeared in three films last year, "In the Valley of Elah," ''American Gangster" and "No Country for Old Men," which won the best-picture Oscar. Wright won a Tony Award for "Angels in America" on Broadway and a Golden Globe for the same role in the television miniseries.
He also has appeared in "Syriana," ''Ali" and "Casino Royale." "W'' is Stone's third presidential film, following "Nixon" and "JFK." He also directed the Vietnam sagas "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Platoon," which won four Oscars including best picture and director.
The Academy Award-winning director only began shopping his script for financing in January, but has quickly captured the interest of investors and Hollywood. Stone has said the film, which will focus on the life and presidency of Bush, won't be an anti-Bush polemic, but, as he told Daily Variety, "a fair, true portrait of the man.

Will Smith is the most dependable actor in Hollywood right now. His latest hit 'Hancock' has topped the box office to give Smith his 12th No.1 film. He now has eight straight movies topping the $100-million mark. Smith is a true global superstar, but he had a humble beginning and his career arc is the stuff of dreams. Smith has conquered the music business, TV and now movies.
Smith began his showbiz career as a musician. His first single with his partner DJ Jazzy Jeff. 'Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble' launched his fame as it served as a more wholesome alternative to the more rampant Gangsta Rap in the late 1980s.
His debut album 'Rock the House' made him a millionaire when he was just 18. A few years later he won his first Grammy. But it was in 1997 when Smith went solo that he established himself as a rap star. The album was 'Big Willie Style' and it spawned his biggest hit to date, 'Gettin'Jiggy Wit It'.

He had reportedly turned down the role eight times citing the impossibility of anyone truly capturing the essence of the boxing legend Muhammad Ali's personality. It took Ali calling up Smith himself to finally convince him to tackle the job. He was rewarded with an Oscar nomination.
He followed up his success as a dramatic star to take in roles in the action movie 'I, Robot', the animated movie 'Shark Tale' and the romantic comedy 'Hitch'. It was with 'Hitch' that he could be deservingly crowned the box office king.
He then took another off turn and starred in the drama 'The Pursuit of Happyness', for which he earned his second Oscar nomination. This movie was extra special for him because his real life son Jaden starred as his onscreen son. He later went on to score another hit with 'I Am Legend' with his latest 'Hancock' slowly also becoming an international hit.
Everything Smith touches turns to gold. He is a beloved star and his personal life is clean and wholesome. But his true secret of success is his work ethic, as he himself said, 'While the other guy's sleeping, I'm working. While the other guy's eating, I'm working. While the other guy's making love, I mean, I'm making love, too, but I'm working really hard at it!'
His status seems nowhere close to waning and we can be sure he will return with more hits in the future.
